In the Clubhouse cocktail bar
To mark this year's World Gin Day, we will be hosting a marvellous gin masterclass to celebrate this iconic spirit. This special event begins with a welcome gin & tonic accompanied by Cantonese canapes from The Clubhouse's restaurant.
We will then guide you through the history and making of our selected gins for the evening, as you enjoy a gin tasting journey:
Dictador Colombian Aged Gin: The rum-producing house of Dictador carries off a classic gin with class and skill in the form of Colombian Ortodoxy Gin, based on the formula of former company president Dario Parra, using a secret combination of berries, botanicals, peels, roots and spices.
Marylebone: Based around the Pleasure Gardens which existed on Marylebone High Street in the 17th and 18th centuries, this super premium gin is distilled in Marylebone in small batches in a beautiful copper pot still.
City of London Distillery: Located on Bride Lane in the heart of the square mile, The City of London Distillery is the first city based working distillery for 200 years. Inspired by its historic surroundings, their award winning gins are the embodiment of heritage, craft and luxury.
Whitley Neill: A range of handcrafted gins of exceptional quality, originally inspired by the vivid beauty, botanicals and mystery of Cape Town, and now boasting a range of flavours drawing inspiration from far flung reaches of the globe.
Your masterclass concludes with one of our bespoke gin cocktails, so immerse yourself and enjoy an hour of fun and expert tuition on all things gin.
